Fall-ow your Bliss :)

I've been a horrible blogger and a very busy girl! Fortunately I have many pictures to prove it! Working out has taken center stage, and after taking a demotion (requested) at work I have a tremendous amount of free time :)
The boy and I have decided to call it quits and its the end of a good 2 years. He's an amazing person and I cannot say enough good about him... other than he's not for me. With so much up in the air about where I'll be heading in the next year it's best to work on doing it all alone, something I've never done before to be honest.
I started working with an amazing nutritionist and am proud to say that in the last 3 weeks I have lost 16"!
Jasper and I did our annual pumpkin patch trip and I couldn't ask for better friends through all these life changes. You can really tell who's in your life "for keeps" when all this happens.

It has been an amazing month so far!!! Cannot wait for the rest of Fall 2012.

Dear October,

As I make a list of all the things October brings I can't help but get a bit giddy. I have so many goals set for myself this month and big changes are happening.  I started working out and dieting a few months ago and 2 weeks ago I officially LOST 20 lbs! I also started going to a nutritionist and have completely overhauled my lifestyle and my first followup appointment is on Oct. 15! I cannot wait to see the difference her planning has made for me. I also quit my full time management job to focus on my last year of school. I couldn't be happier with the decision I've made. October is full of weddings, pumpkin patches, orchards, glass blowing, parties, baby showers, and even a zombie run! I look forward to catching up with old friends and spending quite a bit of time with my best friends!

My goals for OCT:
       1. Keep up with my cardio. 60-80 minutes 6 times a week. ( unfortunately I've had some back issues so I can't run... just low impact. Also no lifting right now)
       2. Keep eating clean! If I get off track work hard to get right back on track!
       3. Get ahead in school! It has been years since I've had this much time and with it being my last year I just need to make sure I stay focused and ahead of the game.
       4. Keep up with my friendships! I've been so busy that I don't get to catch up with all the people I care about enough.
       5. No drinking!
       6. Overall, just become a more disciplined person.
What are your goals for October?

xoxo

Oh Hello Maine.....

I've been MIA for a few weeks now between my trip and school starting. It's been an incredibly crazy couple of weeks..... PIC overload :)

We spent a large portion of our time in Portland, ME doing the touristy thing... The wedding was in Hallowell, ME. It was officially one of the cutest little towns. The wedding was amazing and Kirsten couldn't have been more beautiful. I'll get back to the reg blogging this week!

Random Sputter

I am really sick of friends who don't make an effort. This has been on my mind a lot lately. I am just as busy as anyone else but I still manage to stay in contact. People need to grow up and value the relationships they have. Big things are happening. I get it. They are happening to everyone. We are at that age. That doesn't mean you stop paying attention to everyone who helped you get there for years and years. This isn't just one person. Its multiple. Just a little vent session ladies. Thanks for listening. :)
Onto other news.....

I went back to cross fit yesterday. So pumped. Seriously after that workout I felt amazing. I mean I had a headache thought I could puke, and my equilibrium was off but still I just wanted to go back. Then I woke up this morning and decided it would be wise to wait until tomorrow. I am in PAIN. But the good kind you keep coming back for ya know? I started going to a new gym. They offer more times, its a more convenient location, and its slightly cheaper. There was nothing wrong with the old one, but this new one seems a bit less hardcore. And they have a gym next door and offer yoga classes as well. I am going to get back in shape if it kills me! Next summer I will be wearing whatever I want!!!
I finally got some pictures on my wall yesterday (We have lived here for 4 months!) And had Sharon over with Austin and Bella over for dinner. A little Cody play time didn't hurt either. :)

We had a good mellow time! Super  sweet kids. Austin might be the sweetest boy I've ever met! And Bella... Look at how cute that little one is. Almost makes me want a two year old. ALMOST :)
Hope everyone's week is going amazing. I'm headed to the gym to try and work out some of this soreness. I will be working the next 7 days straight before heading off to Maine and then getting back just in time for school to start. Cannot wait!!! My little sister moves down in less than a week!

Catchup and Instagram

It's been a crazy week but really I've just been extremely unmotivated.... And then sick. ugh. We haven't been doing too much here. The boy quit his job and so we have been enjoying some MAJOR quality time together. Now. Find. A. Job. It's stressing me out. Definitely more than its stressing him. On top of that nothing new is going on but we did do a bonfire with friends to celebrate Sharon GRADUATING!

And now for the instagram vomit. Sorry in advance.

This pretty girl Devon just moved... SO SAD. We've worked together for 2 1/2 years and she's the sweetest girl ever!

And Happy Happy Birthday to this adorable boy Gentry. 3!!!
There hasn't been much going on recently but I'm staying busy cleaning, cooking, working out, and getting ready for school to start!! Spent my afternoon doing some shopping with Sharon and her adorable son Austin. Is everyone ready for school to start???

Knits, Tweeds, and Boots oh my!

So Fall is my FAVORITE season if you guys don't already know that. All my favorite stores are transitioning to fall clothing in the next few weeks and I am getting super excited. Of course Pinterest never hurts my urge for the seasons to change... along with the fact that it was 105 degrees yesterday!

A good pair of fall boots can really make an outfit. Spend the most you can on boots and handbags. They last so much longer if they're nice and the add so much richness to every outfit!
Skinny jeans and I have a love hate relationship... My booty is not small, at all. But well fitted, paired with a looser shirt and boots it makes for a super cute outfit you'll be comfortable in. I truly LOVE Kohl's Rock and Republic Skinnies. They run $80 normally but you can usually get em on sale for $59.99. ( I was a huge BKE, Lucky, Miss Me fan but with Skinnies it isn't as important to me, I like a nice simple skinny without much of a pocket style)
Gold, Earth Tones, and Plaids will always be in, especially in the fall. I absolutely love this dressed up combo but I would never be able to wear the dress... My hips are too wide. Knowing what you can and cannot wear with your  body style is a MUST.

This handbag is beautiful!! i will either be buying a new Louis, Frye, or Coach this year depending on what I fall in love with! Keep checking up on the blog for a SALE, I really wanna sell some old Coach purses and shoes!

Such a CLASSIC. The statement necklace and handbag make this outfit. Notice the boots. Two toned is never a bad idea, SO VERSATILE :)
Simple everyday outfit to wear to school! Comfy and Casual; this would work for most occasions.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this outfit. The chunky sweater, casual prep style, and the statement boots. Nothing could make me want to wear this more. In fact it almost makes me wish my hair was still long so I could wear a "knot".
I am by no means a fashionista but I $$Spend$$ when it comes to fall clothing. I don't know if its back to school shopping or what but I can't control myself this time of year!
